Meet Dr.Brian Moreira-Bouchard (Swampscott, MA)

Dr. Brian Moreira-Bouchard, O.D., earned his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. In 2018, he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Salem State University.

During his final year of optometry school, Dr. Moreira-Bouchard interned at the Northampton Vision Specialists practice, where he learned about the extraordinary impact that vision therapy can have on a patient's vision and daily life. He has had the opportunity to treat patients in community health centers, veteran affairs clinics, and specialty ophthalmology clinics. He specializes in pediatrics, vision therapy, and providing care to the LGBTQ community.

Dr. Moreira-Bouchard grew up in the Boston area and was working with an optometrist while an undergrad student when he found his passion. He fell in love with helping people see the world.

In his free time, Dr. Moreira-Bouchard likes to spend time with his husband, family, and friends. He enjoys cooking, going to concerts, and exploring local breweries.
